Why haven't I done this before??? Houseboating kicks ass! I think Albertans and the Interior keep this a secret from Vancouver (just like the Stampede). But how can you blame them? There are over 400 boats rented out each summer weekend that are booked months ahead!

I'll explain for my kids at home, the boats sleep 10-30 and have a kitchen, bathrooms, TV, hot tub and water slide! Its just one big boozefest / wake & bake on a boat (ours was from Twin Anchors) in the Okanagan for the weekend with hundreds of other boats that dock on the same beach (Neilson is the most popular), and you party til death. Some boats even have DJ's! It was so fun, I know I'll be doing again next year (Ian, you're organizing, right?).
